Norse Projects Norwegian Birdseye Beanie

Offering a super crisp and compact finish, this Norwegian Birdseye Beanie has a two-tone jacquard knit design, with flecks of white added to a dark navy background. Norse Projects have utilised pure new wool for this hat, which is known for its naturally insulating properties whilst being in its purest form that hasn’t been blended with any other fibres. The knit design continues to the edge of the beanie which has an additional cuff which has then been rolled to create a thicker roll-up around the outside. A small woven label has been added to the edge of the cuff.

This knitted style has been inspired by an iconic fishermans fairisle best known as the ‘Norwegian Birdseye’ pattern. With a rich history in knitwear design, many Norwegian designs are associated with ski sweaters and are best known for their striking decoration, which traditionally use a dark background with lighter lines and motifs.
