The best multifunctional shorts, Patagonia Baggies Lights Shorts are the newest offering for spring. Made from an ultra durable polyester ripstop, this new iteration features a sleeker silhouette that dries quicker when out of water thanks to a DWR finish (durable water repellent). To improve movement in water, mesh lining features in both front pockets to decrease drag and increase drainage. Additionally the waist is secured not only through an elasticated waistband but also a drawstring finish to allow for a customisable fit. Pockets rest at either side seam with a single button fastened one at the back, these double as stash pockets making these shorts ideal for summer travels. Designed in a matcha green, the colour is cut through by a small woven Patagonia label that sits above the left leg seam.

Reflecting the brands forty year commitment to environmental protection, these shorts are made using 100% recycled polyester sourced from plastic bottles as well as Patagonia’s own worn garments. This in turn ensures less waste going into landfills contributing to better environmental conditions globally without impacting on a premium function.
