Salomon XT-6 Shoes in Black, Grape and Chocolate Fondant. Inspired by its 2013 predecessor and renowned for being the preferred silhouette of world-class athletes and ultra-distance runners, the Salomon XT-6 receives a contemporary update designed to deliver in cushioned comfort and all-terrain functionality. Retaining its original descent-control construction with its EVA cushioned ACS stabilised EnergyCell midsole and lightweight design, this low collared shoe features resilient synthetic and textile uppers styled in an earthy shade of chocolate brown, whilst its taped TPU film and mesh overlay pays homage to Salomon’s iconic aesthetic across the branding ‘LAB’ quarters and heel. A molded OrthoLite insole, a SensiFit cradle system and a grippy Contagrip TA underfoot tread combine for exemplary all-terrain functionality whilst the reinforced toe cap is designed to provide additional protection against hard landings and loose debris. Salomon’s technical Quicklace system secures the lightly padded tongue across the arch of the foot, with the embroidered ‘Racing Product’ multi-tonal woven strip a signifier of classic Salomon design. Asymmetric ‘S-LAB XT6’ and ‘Salomon’ rear quarter detailing provides additional referential depth, with its new season autumnal colouring a tribute to contemporary trends.
