Tender Type 473 Sack Shirt

Adapted from an early 20th Century nurse’s shirt, this Type 473 Sack Shirt from Tender has been designed and made in England from rinse washed tote cloth that will soften and gain further character over time. Cut to a very wide and loose fit through the body, the shoulders have been pulled in to a standard fit and width whilst deep pleats can be seen on the front and back. Custom made stamped solid aluminium buttons fasten the front and lead to the collar neckline and a woven label sits on the back of the neckline showing the illustrated Tender elephant design. Large pockets sit inside the space created by the pleats over the side seam splits and the long sleeves have single button aluminium cuffs that allow you to roll and style the fabric to suit.
