Universal Works Open Collar Shirt

Creating an effortless blend between casual, formal and military - the Universal Works Open Collar Shirt is woven in Portugal from a 100% cotton yarn. The slim straight cut body with short sleeves is adorned with a single piece collar that is tastefully curved to sit open, perfectly made for the summer season. The straight cut hem sits under a six button fastening, flanked on the right by a single, spade shaped chest pocket. Made from a traditional oxford cloth which allows styling versatility to suit both casual and formal, having been dyed in a light olive this lends itself towards darker tones to either be layered or as a standalone upper piece.

Universal Works was launched in 2009, updating traditional silhouettes, often seen across a scope of working class families during the seventies, with good designs and classic fits. They source fabrics from well established mills across europe working only with factories they have a strong relationship with and trust. Since 2009, production stays small scale in limited quantities despite now being available across most continents.
