Founded in 2011 by designer and outdoor enthusiast Euijae Lee, CAYL, also commonly known as Climb As You Love, has remained a pillar of influence across South Korea’s evolving outdoor apparel industry. Inspired by the country's long standing affinity with their mountainous terrain and influenced heavily by Lee’s desire to create multi-functional apparel and pack gear that’s well suited to both everyday and explorative use, CAYL’s speciality is one focused on honouring past and present climbing, trail running and hiking culture. Inspired by time spent exploring South Korean areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the Seoraksan and Odaesan National Parks, CAYL’s technical design style is one that supports the rising popularity of local and international outdoor culture. Addressing Korea’s fast-changing weather fronts through the choice use of fabrics such as Pertex Quantum Air, Supplex and reflective Luminex, Climb As You Love combine’s utilitarian necessity with a passion for creating some of the most heavy duty and protective jackets, pack gear and functional accessories the industry has yet to offer.
