Studio Arhoj

Now based in the harbour of Copenhagen, Studio Arhoj is a creative Danish ceramics label originally founded in Tokyo in 2006 by Anders Arhoj. Celebrating the honesty of clay and the appeal of unique design, Studio Arhoj’s explorative style explores the relationship between Scandinavian simplicity and the intricacies of traditional Japanese culture. Recognised for their colourful range of glazed and handmade decorations and tableware, as well as for iconic projects including their Crystal Blob and recent SEA LAB collections.

Combining original processes and craft knowledge with a passion for environmental activism, Studio Arhoj strives to utilise recycled and recyclable materials throughout their product journey. Many tableware and decorations are hand crafted from recycled clay and recycled glass, with their Brick Project up-cycling cornerstones that once laid the foundation for many different Danish cities.
