Nike Walliwaw Woven Jacket

Nike Walliwaw Woven Jacket in Sail and Midnight Navy. A reinterpreted archival design, this Nike jacket is fit for the seas and presents graphics and detailing inspired by an original sailing anorak created in 1987 for the USA Rowing Team. Constructed using modern techniques from a lightweight Nike Repel fabric with a smooth, premium feel that helps shake off light wind and rain, this jacket has a pullover entry and zip-in adjustable hood. The exaggerated collar neckline provides protection from wind chill and has a 4-snap ½ zipper closure that together works to seal in warmth with the iconic Nike Swoosh to one side in a midnight navy tone. On the right side of the chest large ‘1987’ chain-stitch embroidery pays tribute to the original Nike jacket design whilst embroidered patches on the sleeve and back panel provide further retro decoration for stand out sailing-inspired character. The Nike Swoosh can be seen again in red to a larger scale across the waist in celebration of the brand’s rich heritage. An interior woven label honours the release of the original and zippered hand pockets on either side of the waist offer secure storage for your nautical essentials. Completing the design, the sleeve cuffs are adjustable and the hem of the body is straight.

For SU21 original 1987 days have been revisited to create fresh interpretations complete with original artwork and signature Nike branding. Keeping you covered from the elements during the build up to the summer, fabrics such as Tech Fleece, Nike’s own Repel material and recycled alternatives have all been incorporated throughout.
