Veja Campo ChromeFree Leather Shoes

Constructed with smooth ChromeFree white leather uppers and nautico coloured decoration, these Campo ChromeFree Leather Shoes from Veja have been designed for everyday wear using consciously sourced fabrics. On either side of the foot ‘V’ overlays have been cut from rubber and bring distinctive branding to the design in addition to a grey tone logo on the flexible tongue which has a cushioned underside for comfort and white laces on top help to secure the fit. A nautico panel on either heel provides a background for bold ‘Veja’ lettering in white and below to the right side the same lettering can be seen again in silver metallic for a luxe touch. Throughout the inside a jersey lining made from a combination of organic cotton and recycled polyester runs throughout in addition to a wild rubber blend insole. Sustainably sourced from the Amazonian forest, the outsole features an additional textured panel around the front of the toes and a repeat cube tread pattern delivers reliable grip for wear across a variety of terrains.

Officially launched in 2005 Veja was founded by François-Ghislain Morillion and Sébastien Kopp after they saw the poor conditions of a Chinese footwear factory and decided to reestablish the industry with their own company. Using sustainably sourced Amazonian rubber, upcycled materials, organic cotton and recycled fabrics the duo have developed a distinctively minimalistic aesthetic that demonstrates how shoes can be made in a conscious way without damaging the environment or workers health.
