Always in Colour 'Before Color'

Taking inspiration from photographers such as William Eggleston and Stephen Shore, our latest capsule of Always in Colour clothing aims to capture the complexities and unfiltered appeal associated with everyday functionality. A reflection of the banal subject matter that inspired both photographers and paying subtle attention to yesteryear nostalgia, here at Always in Colour Exeter we’ve curated our own exclusive collection of t-shirts and hoodies designed to complement the demands of any daily setting.

Coined after and continually inspired by a quote from influential American photographer William Eggleston that states; ‘Often, very often. I have these, I call them photographic dreams. They're one beautiful picture after another... which don't exist. A short time later I don't remember, I just remember being very happy during the dream. Always in colour’, the latest Always in Colour collection manifests everyday necessity with an ode to classic Americana, photographic reference and ideational corporate design.

Accompanied by an Always in Colour zine photographed by Oliver Marshall, new season apparel includes the Always in Colour 10ASEE T-Shirt, Before Colour T-Shirt, Before Colour Hoodie and both the Photo Dreams Hoodie and T-Shirt. Combining autumn trends with vintage corporate reference, the 10ASEE T-Shirt is a relaxed silhouette styled in classic, crisp white, with the Before Colour T-Shirt offering a mirrored print recital of referential Americana heritage and the Photo Dreams T-Shirt styled with Eggleston’s aforementioned quote displayed across the reverse. A revision of traditional sportswear aesthetic, the Before Colour and Photo Dreams t-shirts are also available as hoodies with a 450gsm cross grain construction for increased warmth.

The Always in Colour 'Before Color' collection will be available online on Wednesday 10th November 2021 at 12.00pm (GMT).
