Keen
Making shoes with a difference, Keen footwear was founded in 2003 by Martin Keen and Rory Fuerst who set out to create versatile, practical and sustainable footwear designs that suit diverse lifestyles and promote time spent in the great outdoors. Achieving this and more, the duo ensures their company goes beyond just making footwear by incorporating goals of quality, health, care and a pioneering attitude through all that they do. Based in Portland, Oregon, since launching the company Keen has donated more than $15 million to non profit organisations and causes around the world linked to environmental protection and community support alongside ongoing partnerships with companies such as Partnerships with Leave No Trace, The Conservation Alliance and Forest Park Conservancy.
Known for their ‘open-air footwear’ Keen create collections of performance focused designs which will appeal to anyone seeking styles that can be worn across a variety of terrains whilst keeping feet cool, comfortable and supported. Incorporating hybrid elements of performance focused footwear, two of their key models include the Uneek Sandals and Uneek SNK Shoes with both feature braided cord detailing around the front of the foot which increases ventilation and use materials that mould to the shape of your foot for a perfect fit and all-day comfort. Striving to create lasting change, Keen hopes to leave the world better than when they found it.
