Helinox

Orientated by a creative design style focused exclusively on elevating the comfort level of outdoor experiences, Helinox was founded by father and son Jake and Young Lah in 2009. Influenced heavily by mountaineering, travel and outdoor culture, Helinox’s technical design style centres itself on combining principles of maximum strength with minimum weight, whilst their in-depth knowledge of materials, next-generation methodologies and their advanced mindset are traits that serve a clear functional purpose without being distracted by unnecessary features.

Named after Helios the God of Sun and Nox the Goddess of Night, Helinox is a South Korean lifestyle label that introduced its original Chair One in 2012. Curators of lightweight, portable furniture well-suited to travel, camping and beach use, Helinox continues to explore the idea of creating solid and secure connections with the great outdoors. Guided by their design-first narrative with an appreciation for iterating and creating new designs based on modern aesthetic and elevated outdoor potential.
