Achieving a balance of contemporary tailoring across modern silhouettes and versatile shirts crafted from premium fabrics, Libertine-Libertine is an independent Copenhagen based brand run by partners Rasmus Bak, Pernille Schwarz and Peter Ovesen. Proud to stand out within the Danish design scene, the team aim to design vibrant, energetic clothing using their playful creative approach which is influenced by a desire to offer something new amongst a culture known for its monochrome colour palette and minimalist aesthetic. Beginning with a capsule collection of printed button-through shirts, a reputation for achieving an effortless blend between simplicity and sophistication has been achieved through high quality manufacturing methods, which has remained imperative to the brand across new seasons; all of which have been designed and made within Europe.

‘Inspired by bright city lights and wild shores’ their roots lie within city life but also share a connection within music, skate and surf scenes, resulting in classically styled collections that have a relaxed yet refined character. A playful use of colour, print and illustration means that whilst Libertine-Libertine means business when it comes to quality and cut, they can’t be accused of taking themselves too seriously. In recent collections, electric blue has been paired with more conventional khaki and brown shades whilst oversized pockets have been placed on boxy fit jackets for an alternative look against silhouettes considered to be the staple of any sophisticated wardrobe.
