Born from a need for a practical cool box design that would withstand repetitive use in the great outdoors, Yeti was founded in 2006 by brothers Roy and Ryan Seiders. Raised with a deep love for the great outdoors by their teacher-turned-entrepreneur father, the duo spent their childhood and teen years hunting, fishing and exploring unfamiliar territory and would help out during the summers at their fathers fishing rod business which helped them to develop a lifestyle business of their own.
Based in Austin, Texas, Yeti is internationally recognised for its hardwearing, practical designs which are able to withstand repetitive use for a variety of activities and tasks. Proudly testing all new designs themselves before releasing to market, innovation and first hand experience is at the core of the company as opposed to research and data analysis which supports the brands authentic vision. Offering a wide selection of goods but best known for their ice chests, vacuum-insulated stainless-steel drinkware and soft coolers, Yeti utilise a combination of science and traditional design knowledge to create each new product in addition to constantly improving their best-loved, essential designs.
