A.P.C. Arid Shirt

Tapping into retro styling through a maroon leopard print and block collared silhouette, this Arid Shirt from A.P.C. has been cut to a loose fit with a seven button front closure and a contrasting neckline. Sourced from Italy, the lightweight fabric is woven from a blend of silk and cotton with a smooth surface. On the left side of the chest a small pocket has been cut from the same material so it sits subtly against the background, whilst the collar contrasts the rest of the design having been cut from solid black fabric. Small black buttons secure the front and sleeve cuffs which have been designed with a double fastened placket. The hem of the body has a curved edge for a flattering finish.

Influenced by classic 50’s and ‘60s styling, autumn/winter ‘19 sees Paris based A.P.C. expand their design style through two collaborative collections with LA based Brain Dead and Parisian stylist Suzanne Koller. Alongside this, their ready-to-wear pieces resonate with the brands heritage of designing clothing that is luxurious in its simplicity whilst rich, muted tones suit the season and American influenced graphics appear as part of the made in USA project.
