Battenwear Warm-Up Fleece

Designed and made in the USA, this plush Battenwear Warm-Up Fleece is made from soft 100% polyester fleece which has been dyed to a rich Bordeaux red colourway. Designed for everyday wear, whether you are seeking extra warmth when exploring the city or for time spent in the great outdoors, the Polartec® 200 - 100% Polyester shell repels water whilst the raised collar neckline will provide additional protection, and raglan shaped sleeves allow for a full range of movement. On the left side of the chest a polyester cotton blend patch pocket has been added for storage of small essentials and is completed with a flap closure that is secured by a silver branded snap button. Positioned on either side of the waist two zip secured pockets are available as hand warmers or for additional storage, whilst a full length maroon coloured zip secures the front and neckline. Wide flexible acrylic ribs have been added around the edge of the sleeves and body for a secure fit which works against wind chill whilst on the move.

Shinya Hasegawa founded Battenwear in 2011 with a desire to design great apparel and accessories that portrayed his strong love for vintage outdoor wear from the ‘60s, ‘70 and ‘80s. As a keen vintage collector, surfer and someone who lives between nature and the city, Hasegawa uses his own lifestyle for continuous inspiration. Each seasonal collection includes custom detailing, attractive print designs and rich colour palettes and has been made in North America having been designed between New York City and Topanga, California.
