Carhartt Elmwood Vest

Constructed from technical polyester mechanical stretch, this black Elmwood Vest from Carhartt has arrived as part of the SS20 collection and has a distinctive utilitarian inspired design. Suitable for layering over t-shirts and long sleeve tops, the front is fastened by a full length zip and an array of practical pockets are available on either side, all of which have secure velcro secured flap closures with two integrated top entrance compartments above the two at the waist. A square woven Carhartt WIP label can be seen on the left side of the chest and a branded D-ring is available below with a fabric loop on the opposite side. For increased durability a nylon mesh lining has been added throughout the inside of the design whilst the fabric has a water repellent finish to help wick away moisture.

This season Carhartt have looked to outdoor hiking styles for influence which is apparent through practical detailing on jackets and coats alongside new artwork presented across casual t-shirts. Maintaining their focus on quality and construction, the range includes staple American Script and Chase designs that use premium cotton jersey whilst bold experimental prints can be seen across heavy duty outerwear on signature styles such as the Detroit Jacket and Michigan Coat.
