Carhartt x Relevant Parties DFA Hoodie

Celebrating NYC based independent record label DFA Records, this black Carhartt x Relevant Parties DFA Hoodie is made from a soft, heavyweight blend of cotton and polyester and has been cut to a loose fit with custom screen printed graphics on the front and reverse. Released as part of a capsule range that brings attention to a new conceptual project by Carhartt entitled ‘Relevant Parties’, on the centre of the chest bright yellow lettering presents the title whilst on the reverse a larger rectangular design shows a mosaic of colours and shapes that create a lightning bolt emblem. Designed for casual everyday wear, the attached hood can be resized to suit using external pullcords and at the waist a kangaroo pouch pocket means you can carry essential items when on the move. Around the edge of the body and long sleeves wide ribbed cuffs encourage a secure and comfortable fit.

Launched for fall/winter ‘20, the Carhartt WIP Relevant Parties project builds upon previous music-focused capsule collections and highlights some of the most influential record labels of the past 40 years. Bringing attention to the current era where widespread music steaming and algorithm-led playlists have taken centre stage, Carhartt reminds us of the importance independent record labels still play in building and shaping an artist’s career. Shown through a capsule range of apparel, this first release is accompanied by its own soundtrack and podcasts.
