Haeckels Reculver GPS 12' 0"E Candle in 270ml. Inspired by the scent of coastal waves crashing into the Reculver sea defences and the overgrown plants and fruits that encompass the ruined Abbey and graveyard below, this 270ml Haeckles candle hosts a burn time of up to 40 hours and is uplifted by its salt water, berry and botanical aroma. Designed to be burned for up to 2 hours at a time, this referential candle is packaged within a recyclable mycelium (fungi) mold intertwined with sawdust, flax and hemp husks which can be reused, composted or planted after use to improve soil quality, whilst the recycled paper pulp and wildflower seed topper is designed to be sewn into any garden to help attract both bees and birds.
Founded in 2012 and opening their Cliff Terrace laboratory in 2013, Haeckels is the brainchild of volunteer beach warden and coastal enthusiast Dom Bridges. Pairing a choice use of minerals, vitamins and naturally harvested ingredients with their ‘craft first’ mindset and passion for healthy living, Margate-based Haeckels is a lifestyle label that continues to inspire with each and every passing season.
