Inspired by ‘80s basketball icons with a revised construction, the New Balance 550 is styled with leather uppers and nylon rear quarter panels for additional texture. Perforations across the layered forefoot and midfoot increase air flow, whilst the cushioned midsole is styled with a full length cupsole stitch and a non-marking rubber outsole. Puffy ‘N’ logos and ‘550’ references detail each midfoot, whilst the adjustable lacing system secures the padded ‘New Balance 550’ tongue in place. Finished with printed insoles, ‘NB’ heel detailing and with basketball references sewn across each tongue tab.
