Nike Air Force 1 Type Shoes

Presenting an iconic design with a twist, these striking black Nike Air Force 1 Type Shoes pay homage to legendary American runner Steve Prefontaine’s fastest mile through a deconstructed design that uses a mix of premium materials highlighted through hand-crafted details and textural decoration. Showing the internal workings of the design, transparent inner side walls are adorned with signature Swoosh tick emblems and reveal a snug inner bootie and Flywire cables that attach to an adjustable strap on the outside; all of which work towards offering a 360-degree fit. Around the front of the foot perforation has been added to increase ventilation, whilst the stretch neoprene tongue has an all over embossed circle print and leads into the glove like bootie. Wide flat cotton laces ensure a secure fit in addition to the Flywire cable system and the inside of the ankle is lined with black mesh. On the back of the heel a zinnia coloured fabric overlay acts as a base for a black stylised Swoosh tick and the custom strap design is visible below.

Not only adding to the aesthetic but also providing reliable support, the chunky white outsole has a Nike Air unit and an oversized rubber toe panel with a debossed geometric pattern inspired by technical manuals found inside Nike shoe boxes from the ‘70s and ‘80s. A traction driven tread pattern completes the design with two specifically placed pivot circles.
