Nike Air Zoom Alpha Shoes

Nike’s freshest SS19 offering is the Nike Air Zoom Alpha updated in a Gucci driven aesthetic. The stitch for stitch remake of the classic style includes a lucid green coloured mesh overlay which is further accented by hints of habanero red on the lateral panels with an embroidered Swoosh logo, contrasted by the waved white mudguards reminiscent of the Spiridon silhouette. The black trim across the white leather helps to cut through this sharp contrast and bring the colour palette together effortlessly. The Air Zoom Alpha is finished with an embossed swoosh on the heel, with Air text carved out underneath.

Originally released in 1996, the Air Zoom Alpha debuted Zoom Air technology with a unit which provided additional cushioning through the placement of four anatomically shaped zoom pods in high stress areas. For this re-issue the Air unit has been updated with a singular piece running from the heel to the forefoot. The shoes continue to offer all the same benefits of the OG edition, with updated summer ready colourways.
