Nike Daybreak Type Shoes - Black / White
Inspired by early Bowerman prototypes, track-and-field silhouettes and by Nike’s passion for innovative performance, these black and white Daybreak Type Shoes deliver a deconstructed energy that remains ever-loyal to the brand’s ode to sportswear legacy. All-over mesh and soft-touch suede decorate the uppers for a streamlined sense of appeal, whilst the reinforced plastic heel brace and Nike’s iconic Waffle outsole deliver exemplary cushioned comfort and traction from first wear. Exposed white-stitch detailings accentuate the overlays and outline the swoop-back interior and exterior facing Swooshes, while the recessed 7-eyelet lacing system secures the exposed-foam ‘N.354’ branded tongue against the natural arch of the foot regardless of setting. Across the rear, a stacked-leather monochrome ankle brace features commemorative ‘N.354’ printed detailing for added character, whilst the rise-up traction-podded underfoot detailing seals the design with an ode to timeless appeal.
Originally released in 1979 and inspired by profiles such as the LDV and Air Tailwind, the Nike Daybreak Type Shoes are designed with functional performance and urban-minded appeal at the forefront of their visionary direction. Stripped back detailings are replaced with tech-led trims for a deconstructed vibe, whilst Nike’s iconic passion for innovation reigns supreme throughout the profile's entirety.
