Nike Fairlead Crewneck Sweatshirt in Sail and Game Royal. Inspired by the Nike Boating Line and uniforms created for the USA Rowing Team during the 1980’s, this Nike sweatshirt offers lightweight comfort within a standard fitting style with custom decoration that includes reinterpreted embroidered patch details and woven labels. Constructed in panels for a strong colour block aesthetic, a soft French terry blend fabric has been chosen for this design with a loopback finish that helps to wick away sweat. Starting at the edge of the ribbed colour neckline which provides a combination of comfort and fit retention, game royal tone panelling flows across the shoulders and down to above either elbow where the famous Nike Swoosh logo has been embroidered in white, and as a continuation, further panelling can be seen across the chest. Authentic details pulled from the ‘87 Nike Boating collection add a distinctive character whilst a multicoloured embroidered patch on the left side of the chest honours the release of the original collection and a design for the ‘88 USA Rowing Team. Encouraging a close fit during everyday wear, wide ribbed trims wrap around the edge of the body and long sleeves.
