Nike React Element 87 Shoes

After a short hiatus, the Nike React Element 87 Shoes have come back with a punch in this new earthy colourway. It’s classic translucent toe box has arrived in a subtle light grey, allowing for your eye to be caught by the contrasting orange stitching that features on the curved eyestays. The lacing unit itself is finished with brown suede, highlighted by the TPU clips that support the heel. More earthy tones are introduced through the moss green that dominates the lateral panels and geometrically designed tongue, contrasted by a black Swoosh and React branding. The midsole is finished in white, with rubber pods added for traction in a contrasting gum brown.

Despite having influences from decades gone, for instance the wavy nature of the eyelets comes from the 1980 Internationalist, the React Element 87 brings the most advanced in technological design. It’s anatomic shaping ensures comfort for every-type of user, with React Cushioning providing 13% greater impact protection than previous shoes. Additionally the outsole has been drilled to relieve high-stress areas which makes these apt not only for lifestyle wear but sports too.

The React Element 87 was named shoe of the year for 2018, making a giant impact on both design and popular trends at the time - something set to continue into 2019.
