Nike Space Hippie 01 Shoes in Black, Dark Grey, Off Noir and Midnight Navy. Crafted from at least 50% recycled materials and from the brand’s pioneering Space Waste Yarn, the lightweight yet performative Nike Space Hippie 01 receives an after dark revision that pays homage to its interstellar namesake. Styled with resilient FlyKnit uppers for a futuristic look that pays tribute to noted runners from the brand’s archive, this low collared shoe also features a bootie-like construction and a Crafter foam midsole that’s styled with the brand’s inventive Nike Grind material underfoot for elevated traction and grip. An updated Waffle outsole combines throwback Nike heritage with an ultramodern twist, with its noted deconstructed design a trait that honours contemporary trends. Woven-in Nike Swoosh detailing accentuates each quarter, whilst the technical lacing system secures the ‘Nike’ tab tongue in place across the natural arch of the foot. A recycled insole provides ample cushioning to suit, whilst the rear of the design is finished with an embroidered pin-wheel pull tab that references the brand’s ongoing ‘Move to Zero’ initiative and eco-minded collection.

Known as one of Nike’s lowest carbon footprint releases to date, the Nike Space Hippie 01 is a progressive profile that combines an eco-orientated design style with an ode to sports-centric sustainable design. Joined by the likes of the Space Hippie 04, 03 and 02, this futuristic release leaves no stone unturned when it comes to innovative design and pioneering creativity.
