Inspired by its 1974 predecessor and influenced by Nike’s archival track-and-field legacy, the Nike Waffle Trainer 2 is a streamlined and resilient profile well-suited to any given terrain. Styled with brushed-suede and mixed-material fabric uppers in complementing shades of washed-black, these low-collared sneakers feature a crisp-white foam midsole and Nike’s iconic Waffle-tread outsole for improved all-terrain wear. Reinforced quarter-panel stitchings ensure a secure and well-structured sense of day-on-day wear, whilst the recessed 7-eyelet flat lacing system secures the exposed-foam ‘Nike’ embroidered tongue across the natural arch of the foot with ease. A large retro-minded all-white leather Swoosh decorates each exterior-facing side wall, whilst the black-on-white printed ankle collar helps seal these archival-inspired remakes with a touch of certified character.
