Norse Projects Elliot Compact Twill Jacket

Featuring a check design exclusive to Norse Projects, the Elliot Compact Twill Jacket is made from an Italian Olmetex water-repellent polyester/cotton twill fabric, which makes this style not only stylish but also practical during unexpected downpours. Inspired by traditional rain macs that were popular throughout the 1950’s and 1960’s, the body has been cut to a regular short fit, a zip through front leads to the pointed collar neckline and the shoulder seams have been brought forward. The long sleeves have slim straight cuffs which matches the hem of the body. Two slanted side pockets have been added which sit neatly amongst the rest of the design and are lined with 100% polyester. A hidden pocket is also available on the left side of the chest. Keeping the style lightweight but structured, the body and sleeves are unlined, the soft pocket bag material visible and neat piping has been applied to the seam edges.

Selecting only the best materials for their spring 19 collection, Norse Projects have worked with Italian textile factories that specialise in premium and high performance technical materials. For this style, the custom twill material has been woven by Olmetex, a company established in 1954 and known for their innovative production methods that do not use harmful substances and offer a fully traceable design system.
