Oliver Spencer Gibson Shirt

Made from lightweight striped cotton with an all over horizontal striped pattern, this Gibson Shirt from Oliver Spencer has arrived as part of the SS20 collection and is perfect for wearing throughout the warmer months. Cut to a regular fit, the selected cotton is breathable with a soft finish and small circular buttons fasten the front allowing for a more relaxed fastening. Above this the pointed collar neckline adds a refined touch and the unusual square sleeve shape shows off the two coloured stripe patterns in tones of white, chiswell green and blue. The hem of the body is straight with side splits that help the fabric to sit neatly over trousers and shorts whilst the long sleeves have straight cuffs with neat double button fastenings that let you adjust the fit to suit.

Inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s 2000 masterpiece In The Mood For Love, this season sees Oliver Spencer offer a new selection of refined menswear styles with considered detailing, cuts and fabric choices that reflect Hong Kong’s night markets and the atmospheric feeling of the movie’s cinematography. Based in London and founded in 2002, Oliver Spencer is a self-taught tailor and shopkeeper.
