Patagonia Back Step Shirt

Offering lightweight, airy comfort for everyday wear during the spring and summer, this Back Step Shirt from Patagonia is a regular fitting style made from a textural 4oz blend of hemp and organic cotton plain weave. Inspired by nature, the all over Fiber Flora Multi print sits against a forge grey background and incorporates illustrations of fauna, giving the shirt a distinctive look. The front is fastened by small brown coloured buttons made from coconut which lead to a collar neckline and on either side of the chest small patch pockets cut from the same material also have button closures to help keep the contents secure. On the reverse two pleats sit below the shoulder yoke and on either side of the body side vents have been added for additional comfort.

Inspired by retro Hawaiian shirts, this casual Back Step Shirt delivers easy going comfort with a new season all over print that brings a burst of character to casual ensembles whether you wear this shirt over a simple cotton tee or fully fastened. This season the Patagonia design team has looked to the Mississippi River Basin for colour and print inspiration which they hope will also raise awareness for nature found in the area which is currently under threat from high levels of chemical pollution.
