Patagonia Fitz Roy Horizons Uprisal Hoodie

Made from a champion-weight fabric that is 95% recycled, this gravel heather Patagonia Fitz Roy Horizons Uprisal Hoodie is a casual everyday style that has been cut to a regular fit. Using 10.8 plastic bottles and 0.6 pounds of cotton scrap for each design, the material is woven from a blend of 47.5% recycled cotton and 47.5% postconsumer recycled polyester with 5% spandex fleece that provides the perfect amount of stretch. For comfort and fit retention the curved neckline has a flexible ribbed trim and below a large colourful graphic has been printed centrally on the chest using PVC and phthalate-free inks. Displaying a reworked version of the brands famous Monte Fitz Roy logo designed by artist Neil Hubert, the original colour tones have been used for the horizon background whilst the mountain silhouette has a thicker outline with a slim white top edge line. Large stylised ‘Patagonia’ text has been printed in black and added underneath. The body and long sleeves are completed with wide ribbed cuffs for a secure but stretchable fit.

Having designed custom artwork for Patagonia previously, Neil Hubert remains the guest artist of choice thanks to his unique illustrative style inspired by traditional hand drawn techniques and classic sign painting typography. Throughout the new autumn/winter ‘19 collection his work can be found across casual t-shirts and sweatshirts and brings a fresh character to signature branding.
