Patagonia Isthmus Parka

Inspired by classic expedition wear from the 1960’s, this black Isthmus Parka from Patagonia has a 4.4oz 100% recycled nylon shell with a protective polyurethane coating and a durable water repellent finish which ensures it stands up to wind and rain. Cut to a regular fit through the body, the front is fastened by a full length two way zip which is concealed by an external storm flap with a hidden snap closure. Pockets have been added on either side of the chest with flap closures secured by hidden snaps and two additional compartments are available at the waist with side-entry handwarmer pockets. The hood can be removed when not needed and is lined with warm, high pile partly recycled fleece which continues throughout the inside of the body for comfort and additional insulation. A 60g Thermogreen polyester lining has been added to the sleeves which have partly elasticated snap button secured cuffs for a close fit that reduces wind chill. An internal zippered left-chest pocket offers space for any valuables you want to keep close and at the waist an adjustable pullcord allows you to adjust the fit to suit. The hem of the body sits at lower-hip length for protection without being restrictive.

Carrying Fair Trade Certification throughout its construction, the Isthmus Parka from Patagonia uses bluesign approved fabrics which are either fully or partly recycled. Recognised for continually improving their manufacturing process to reduce environmental impact and for promoting the repair of what we already own, Patagonia was established in 1979 by rock climber and outdoor activist Yvon Chouinard whose love for nature and innovative vision continues to be reflected throughout each seasonal collection of apparel, accessories and hardware.
