Arriving as the second part of Rolando Simmons’ summer excursions series which was originally launched via AF019.1, 2018, this 12 inch Summer Diary Two has been released through Analogical Force and is full of quirky, electronic sounds across five tracks that each have their own character. Hailing from Sweden, Simmons is known for his electro, techno and acid sounds which have become a favourite within Europe and with each new release his progression and love for experimentation continues to shine through.
Known for releases that have been labelled as ‘music to trip to’ Rolando Simmons is well known within the acid house scene but does not rest in that genre alone, with experimental tracks that delve into electronic sub categories with bleeps, mid-tempos and melodies that are sure to whip up some nostalgia for any electronic music fan. Fascinated by the work of Drexciya, AFX and Isao Tomita, your imagination will be ignited with Simmons work and furthered by cover artwork that often has a whimsical, fairytale-like look.
