Tender Type 431 Raglan Wallaby Shirt

Incorporating several of Tender’s most iconic silhouettes, the Type 431 Raglan Wallaby Shirt continues the high level of expert English craftsmanship that defines the brand. Using 100% cotton, the fabric has been cut from welsh stripe calico which has been custom woven in Britain. The shirt’s shape is defined by the inverted raglan sleeves which have no under or side seam allowing for a fluid silhouette that drapes over the shoulders. The sleeves feature pleated cuffs, detailed by olive wood buttons which allow for some flexibility. Final functional details include large bar tacked pockets that flank both sides of the button fastening, allowing for the shirt to wear like a lightweight jacket. The shirt has been dressed in a rinsed indigo stripe design which alternates with stripes running vertically down the torso, while stripes run horizontally on the sleeve cuffs.

Tender founder William Kroll has combined an inspiration of Britain's bygone age of steam, the brand’s name itself having been inspired by a vintage steam train, with illusive experience working at the heart of Japan’s denim industry. When he returned to England he naturally began working with denim to reflect British workwear, but has since gone on to create through several disciplines, including shirts, jackets and ceramics.
