Universal Works Cardigan

Vibrant in colour through a blend of lightly felted wool in tones of orange and yellow, this regular fitting Universal Works Cardigan is made from a blend of wool and polyester with a colour matched 100% cotton trim along its curved v neck collar and front placket. Five dark circular buttons fasten the front, allowing for personalised styling and layering whilst knitted cuffs around the wrists and body result in a secure fit. Three patch pockets can be found on the front exterior, one small in size on the left side of the chest and two larger at the waist all cut from the same wool/poly blend, whilst on the inner right side of the chest another small compartment is available and stands out against the darker tone reverse of the fabric.

For autumn/winter ‘19 Nottingham based Universal Works have looked to Aesop’s fable of the tortoise and the hare to reflect their beliefs in the importance of a calm and consistent attitude, which can be seen throughout their thoughtful collections of apparel and accessories. Tones are muted in comparison to the previous summer collection, with rich wool blends and textural acrylic sherpa fleece used for comfortable loose silhouettes.
