Universal Works Suit Jacket

Updated for versatility, the Universal Works Suit Jacket features an unstructured silhouette that represents a classic suit jacket with a traditional three button closure that has been extended under the lapel, so you can button up to the neck just like a chore jacket. It is made from a tightly woven cotton and cut to a regular fit producing a uniquely formal style that has had character added through rounded patch pockets at the chest or above the waist hem. The navy backdrop has been adorned with a neat dark orange cord woven in vertical stripes running the full length, which has been done by renowned Italian weaver Subalpino.

Universal Works was launched in 2009, updating traditional silhouettes often seen across a scope of working class families with good designs and classic fits. They source fabrics from well established mills across Europe. Since 2009, production stays small scale in limited quantities favouring a high quality over anything.
