Universal Works Uniform Shirt

Cut to a boxy, hip-length fit this rich claret coloured Uniform Shirt from Universal Works is made from a super fine wale cotton corduroy with a soft, comfortable surface. Small circular dark tone buttons secure the front and lead to a smart pointed collar neckline, and on the left side of the chest a split rectangular chest pocket has been added for storage of small items. Below this on either side of the waist two large side entrance patch pockets are available for larger essentials and add a unique touch to the classic button through shirt silhouette. Matching the front, a single button fastens the wrist cuffs and sits below a short placket that allows the fabric to be rolled and styled to suit.

Arriving as part of the autumn/winter ‘19 collection, the Uniform Shirt offers a fresh take on a staple everyday style cut from luxurious fine wale corduroy for additional warmth throughout the colder months. 2019 marks the tenth anniversary of Universal Works, an independent menswear brand founded by David Keyte who draws inspiration from his upbringing throughout the 70’s, the fashion of his father and uncle, alongside his extensive experience of working in the fashion industry for brands ranging from Paul Smith to Maharishi.
