The Universal Works x Birkenstock Zurich Sandals are an essential for summer, keeping the iconic open-toe silhouette with slight visual updates thanks to the British designers influence. The upper has been made in two tones of navy, with darker overlays featuring the iconic black buckle which provides adjustability to their fit. The cork footbed adds both texture and colour, while finishing touches to the iconic look include a white and gum outsole. Although aesthetic changes are obvious, the collaboration has maintained the level of comfort that makes Birkenstock a leader in orthopedic footwear. The anatomically shaped footbed has been made from a cork and latex blend which ensures that every step is more comfortable than the last, with a hand applied EVA sole for both flexibility and traction.
