Vans X The North Face Old Skool MTE DX Shoes

Vans and The North Face have come together for a second time, with the latest collaborative effort going into the classic Old Skool silhouette, except with some elemental updates.

This collaboration from the pair has allowed the two companies to utilise a combination of suede and The North Face’s Scotchguard technology for the construction of the upper on this Old Skool MTE DX shoe.

The Scotchguard technology features on the toe vamp, lace eyelets and the heel, in order to keep your feet dry and warm this winter, while the suede has been built into the side walls and collar.

Within the shoe, a micro fleece liner keeps the foot warm while a moulded insole creates everyday comfort.

Built with a vulcanised midsole and high black foxing tape, while the classic Vans Waffle sole has been reversed in order to grant you with better traction to the ground while you’re out and about in the elements.

Co-branding features clearly on the Old Skool MTE DX model with Vans branding on the tongue, while The North Face logo has been printed onto the heel, while the iconic red “Off The Wall” rubber stamp takes its usual location on the lower heel.

As an added touch of details comes in the form of the classic Vans side stripe, however rather than being cut from leather like usual, The North Face add their own spin on it by incorporating their Scotchguard technology.

Manufactured for the elements, the Vans X The North Face Old Skool MTE DX has been constructed by two outdoor geniuses, you just know these are a perfect cop for the winter.
