Bellerose X Veja

Veja are the sort of producer we really love; products made with passion and purpose. The Parisian footwear company have been making environmentally friendly sneakers since 2005, using raw materials sourced from organic farming and ecological agriculture, most importantly without chemicals or polluting as any part of the processes. Their ethical roots have certainly broadened their appeal and brought plaudits from the socially conscious, but Veja’s clean lines and bold designs have created just as much impact.

As part of the new Fall 2018 collection, Veja have collaborated with Belgian fashion label Bellerose on a special edition of their V-10 Bastille Leather Shoe. Updating the classic silhouette for Fall, they have introduced bold flashes of colour against the tonal crisp white leather and muted grey suede uppers. The blue suede heel and coral pink ‘V’ logo really combine for a bold and retro runner feel. The Bellerose partnership is a nice full circle of sorts for Veja and a point to reflect on is how they have grown in the last fourteen years - as the Belgians were Veja’s very first wholesale customer back in 2004.

The Fall Veja collection is online and instore now with subtle colourways and some really great profiles.
