Footwear | Stepney Workers Club

Known for their extensive history within footwear design that spans back to 1964, Nike Sportswear continues to design new shoe styles that combine their rich heritage and eye for innovation. A selection of classic models such as the Daybreak, Waffle Racer and Nike Air Tailwind 79 have been reintroduced with contemporary features and materials that improve quality whilst remaining in tune with original, vintage aesthetics. Likewise, Converse also looks to their past for inspiration for their archival print line which was presented across hi and low top CTAS 70’s shoes alongside their sustainably conscious Renew project which sees their famous basketball style silhouette reimagined in recycled materials.

Remaining true to their original legacies throughout contemporary releases, the likes of Vans, Birkenstock and Novesta will appeal to anyone seeking a classic looking shoe made with attention to construction and material. You can’t go wrong with the Vans Classic Slip-On and Novesta Star Master which both feature durable vulcanised rubber outsoles whilst the Birkenstock Arizona SFB Sandals are a go-to for summer with the brand's famous footbed with a sculpted heel.

In the spirit of UK design, we introduced Stepney Workers Club to Always in Colour in 2018, a new London based shoe brand that crafts timeless, unisex designs made using a blend of bygone methods. Highlighting the skilled craftspeople of Cumbria, England New Balance released a special ‘Made in UK’ collection in the summer of 2019 that celebrated British manufacture and emphasised the importance of keeping smaller scale footwear factories alive.
