Folk Babycord Shirt

Cut to a standard fit shirt block, this Folk Babycord Shirt has been designed for everyday wear having been cut from soft, lightweight and naturally insulating cotton corduroy which has been dyed to a rich rhubarb colourway. The front is fastened by small circular grey tone buttons, which lead to a neat pointed collar neckline and match the fastenings on either sleeve placket and cuff. On the reverse a yoke shoulder panel has been inserted and the lower back sleeve panel has been cut so that the cord runs at a 90 degree angle in comparison to the rest of the garment. The hem of the body has a subtle curve for a flattering finish.

Known for quietly sophisticated designs, Folk was founded in 2002 by Cathal Mcateer who grew tired of people buying clothing purely for branding and sought to launch his own brand that focused on cut, quality and colour. This season includes a fresh array of sophisticated outerwear, alongside a capsule range designed in collaboration with the Bristol based Goss brothers.
