Folk Soft Collar Short Sleeve Shirt

Offering a literal piece of art, the Folk Soft Collar Short Sleeve Shirt is one part of several garments which feature the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. The shirt itself features a linen/cotton blend for a comfortable yet breathable feel, cut to the classic shape of a 50’s shirt with a shortened, boxy fit. A traditional shirting influence in this piece includes a straight hem, flat open collar and split side seams to improve ventilation. Aesthetic attention to detail is palpable, with buttons crafted from the Corzo nut running down the front - flanked by a patch pocket on the left side. The artwork has been designed by two Bristolian artists, which have conveyed the Greek epic through tones of purple, yellow and black (to depict a horse) over a white body.

Folk was founded in 2002. A staple of British menswear, the brand reinterprets classic workwear silhouettes with added textures and detailing which creates a unique yet contemporary style.
