Nike Air Zoom Alpha Shoes

Essentially a portal straight back to the 90’s, the Nike Air Zoom Alpha uses a stitch-for-stitch remake method to bring an OG style from the 90’s into the 21st century. Crisp white mesh sits below white and black leather panels across the front, whereas on the lateral sides the addition of a wolf grey trim to the waved mudguards allows for a truly tonal colour palette. Hints of volt have been added to contrast the body of the shoe through the embroidered Swoosh on the side panel and throughout the outsole. The heel is finished with an embossed Swoosh, under which is an Air spellout.

Despite being over 23 years old, this silhouette was at the forefront of design having been the first to use a Zoom Air unit. Now, the four pods are replaced with a single unit which runs from the heel to forefoot. The original design went on to inspire the Spridions, which saw a spike of popularity in 2014.
