Tender Type 042 Wool Oil Soap

Hand poured, cut and stamped in England, the Tender Type 042 Wool Oil Soap in Vetiver uses historical ingredients to provide a soap that gently cleanses the skin using natural ingredients. The benefits of wool oil were first discovered in the 19th century when wool processing mill workers were found to have extremely soft skin on their hands, it was revealed that the close contact with wool meant the workers benefited from the natural oil that keeps the wool healthy and water repellent. This bar features a smoky scent from the Vetiver root, a plant native to India that is known to help eliminate scars and reduce inflammation. Each bar is individually cut at approximately 185g/6.5oz, complete with a biodegradable shrink wrap and parchment paper packaging.

Based in Gloucestershire, Tender have a hand picked range of unique products that have been sourced from around Britain. There’s a focus on natural materials and ingredients such as wool for knitwear and beeswax for candles.
