Veja Campo ChromeFree Leather Shoes

Designed for everyday wear with a cushioned lining and minimalist aesthetic these white Campo ChromeFree Leather Shoes from Veja have been designed using consciously sourced materials and feature natural coloured accents for a super clean look. The uppers are made from white ChromeFree leather with textured vegan suede V logo overlays on either side of the foot in addition to a shaped section on the back of the heel which provides a base for bold ‘Veja’ lettering. On the outer curve of the heel silver metallic ‘Veja’ lettering has also been added for a subtle luxe effect. White cotton laces ensure a secure fastening and sit on top of the tongue which has a soft padded underside and a printed grey tone logo across its topside. Made from a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester a lining has been added throughout whilst the natural coloured outsole is made from wild rubber which has been sustainably sourced from the Amazon with an additional textured section around the front of the toes to enhance protection and a repeat cube tread pattern provides grip across the tread.

With a vision to demonstrate how footwear can be made using sustainably sourced materials, conscious manufacturing techniques and with monitored working conditions Veja was founded by François-Ghislain Morillion and Sébastien Kopp after they saw the poor working conditions of a Chinese factory in 2003. After extensive research and multiple trips to Brazil where manufacturing takes place, their first trainer style was released in 2005 and set the mark for their minimalistic, high quality style which continues throughout each of their more recent collections.
