Veja Womens V-12 B-Mesh Shoes

Seen here with a crisp white silhouette accented with tones of berry purple and golden yellow, these Veja Womens V-12 B-Mesh Shoes have B-mesh uppers and leather panels which work towards offering a clean and contemporary finish. White cotton laces sit upon the slim tongue which has Veja branding printed in black at the top and rubber ‘V’ overlays have been layered upon the outers for a signature look. The back of the heel has a golden yellow tip with white ‘Veja’ text printed on top, whilst underneath ‘V-12’ is visible on the outer right sections which signifies the model number. For support and comfort, this style is lined with recycled polyester jersey and the insole is made from wild Amazonian rubber blended with synthetic materials. The light grey outsole is also made from wild rubber and has lightly embossed details towards the heel.

Aiming to shake up the global footwear industry, for each pair of Veja’s V-12 B-Mesh Shoes, three plastic bottles are used in the process alongside recycled polyester and ethically sourced rubber. With a focus on conscious production and a fair trade set up for their connections, Veja was founded in 2005 after founders François-Ghislain Morillion and Sébastien Kopp were shocked by the working and living conditions they saw within a Chinese footwear factory.
