Veja Womens V-12 Leather Shoes

Constructed with crisp extra white leather uppers, a gum outsole and nautico coloured accents, these Veja Womens V-12 Leather Shoes use consciously sourced fabrics and manufacturing techniques to create a super clean and stylish look. Double lines of stitching strengthen the edge of the toe vamp and the white cotton laces are held in place by a leather border. On the outside of the flexible tongue an embossed ‘VEJA’ logo has been added and the underside has been lightly padded for comfort. On either side of the foot nautico coloured rubber V overlays have been added for signature branding and on the back of the heel an additional coloured section provides a background for bold ‘VEJA’ lettering in white. Below this and to one side ‘V-12’ has a super subtle etched effect. Throughout the inside a recycled polyester lining has been added alongside a wild rubber and synthetic insole. Contrasting to the light coloured uppers the gum sole has an embossed detail around the back of the heel whilst the tread pattern features an all over herringbone design with pivot points under the ball of the foot and heel.

Designed in Paris and made in the Porto Alegre region of Brazil each pair of shoes from Veja present their vision to create footwear using sustainably sourced materials and socially responsible manufacturing methods. Founded in 2003 by François-Ghislain Morillion and Sébastien Kopp who were taken aback when they saw the poor living and working conditions of a Chinese factory, the duo decided to design shoes that they felt reflected the current innovative generation and ensured equal rights for all involved.
