A collaborative interpretation of the brand’s iconic vegan Veja Hiking silhouette, avant-garde designer Rick Owens delivers an after-dark aesthetic to an all-season and all-terrain favourite. Styled with C.W.L (cotton worked as leather) uppers with all-black panels crafted from a mix of both vegan-suede and TPU, these low-collar sneakers are designed to make light work of any given setting. L-Foam cushioned technology pairs well with the Amazonian wild-rubber outsole, whilst the recycled sugar-cane midsole is a complement to its streamlined aesthetic. A breathable interior lining, crafted from 100% recycled plastic-bottles provides a well-circulated sense of wear, with the 72% bio-sourced and recycled insole providing additional structural support to suit. A tonal-rubber ‘V’ shape logo decorates both the interior and exterior-facing quarter panels, with organic-cotton laces securing the loop-pull tongue across the natural arch of the foot. Oversized heel-tabs and khaki-cream stripes are complemented by material ‘Veja’ braces across the rear, for a luxe-like finish inspired by Owens’ iconic design style.
Inspired by heritage trail-running and hiking-style designs, the Veja Venturi sneaker receives a collaborative update in partnership with internationally renowned designer Rick Owens.
