Paris-based designer Rick Owens, these new-season Veja runners are designed to provide an ultra-comfortable wear as inspired by heritage trail-running designs. Styled with off-white uppers crafted from the brand’s exclusive V-Knit fabric made from 100% recycled polyester obtained from post-consumer plastic bottles, these low-collared sneakers feature a contoured outsole styled on a eco-minded midsole crafted from a blend of 46% sugar cane, 8% banana-oil, 30% Amazonian rubber and 31% rice waste. Breathable perforations across the toe-box complement the rib-knit collared trim, TPU panels and cushioned L-Foam latex interior for a chafe-resistant and well-ventilated wear, whilst the recessed 9-eyelet staggered lacing system provides a secure and structured fit across the natural arch of the foot. Sea-green ‘Veja’ and double-stripe pull-loop tabs across the rear provide a layer of added functionality to these re-designed runners, whilst the tonal Pebax RNew V-logo side-wall decals remain true to the brand’s iconic aesthetic.
